Shikhalo, Kahata na Werre watemwa Harambee Stars

Nairobi, Kenya. Takribani wiki moja baada ya kuteuliwa kwa mara nyingine kuongoza jahazi la timu ya Taifa, Harambee Stars, Kocha Jacob “Ghost” Mulee, ameanza kazi rasmi kwa kuteua kikosi chake.

Ghost, aliyeteuliwa na shirikisho la soka nchini (FKF), kurithi mikoba ya Francis Kimanzi, aliyejiengua pamoja na jopo lake la ukocha, ametangaza kikosi cha wachezaji 40,  watakaongia kambini kujiandaa na mechi mbili za kufuzu Afcon 2021, dhidi ya Comoros, zitakazopigwa mwezi ujao.

Katika kikosi hicho, kilichotangwa leo, Oktoba 25, Kocha Mulee, amemrejesha kikosini Kipa mzoefu, Arnold Origi anayecheza soka lake la kulipwa, katika klabu ya HIFK ya Finland.

Nahodha Victor Wanyama, kinara wa mabao kwenye ligi kuu ya Japan, Michael Olunga, na Johanna Omolo, anayesakata kabumbu huko Ubelgiji, ambao wote walikosa mchezo wa kirafiki dhidi ya Zambia, pia wamejumuishwa katika kikosi hicho cha kwanza cha Stars, chini ya utawala mpya wa Ghost.

Kinda wa Gor Mahia, Benson Omala, ambaye pia ni mwanafunzi wa kidato cha nne, katika shule ya Sekondari ya Kisumu Day, Nahodha wa Sofapaka Elli Asieche, pia wameitwa.

WALIOACHWA

Hata hivyo, Kocha Mulee amewatema baadhi ya nyota, ambao wamekuwa wakiunda vikosi vya Stars, katika miaka ya hivi karibuni. Baadhi ya nyota hao ni kiungo wa Simba, Francis Kahata, Kipa wa Yanga, Farouk Shikalo na Kipa wa zamani wa Stars, Patrick Matasi.

Nyota wa Burnley ya Uingereza, Clarke Oduor, ambaye aliitwa kwa mara ya kwanza katika kikosi kilichovaana na Zambia, naye ametemwa. Kilio cha wengi, Straika matata wa Zesco FC (Zambia), Jesse Were, hajajumuishwa licha ya wengi kutegemea ataitwa.

Wachezaji wa ndani, wanatarajiwa kuanza mazoezi Oktoba 28, huku wachezaji wanaosakata soka majuu, wakitarajiwa kuripoti kambini Novemba 2, mwaka huu. Kikosi hicho kinatarajiwa kupigwa panga hadi wachezaji 20, watakaoivaa Comoros.

Mechi ya raundi ya kwanza, inatarajiwa kupigwa Novemba 11, ugani Moi Kasarani, saa moja usiku, kabla ya Stars, kusafiri hadi visiwa vya Comoro, kwa ajili ya mechi ya raundi ya pili, itakayopigwa Novemba 15.
