The High Court has dismissed an attempt by two logistics firms to challenge the Kenya National Examinations Council’s (Knec) award of a crucial exams distribution tender to a rival company.

Justice John Chigiti ruled that the joint venture of Mitchell Cotts Freight Kenya Limited and Fintech Edge Co Ltd failed to prove Knec and the Public Procurement Review Board (PPRB) acted improperly in the tender for ‘Provision of End-to-End Integrated Logistics System and Related Services During Administration of Examinations and Assessments’.
