A pay cut row between the 47 county secretaries and the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) has moved to the Court of Appeal in a second round of fight against the agency's decision to trim wage bill at the devolved units.

In their appeal, the county secretaries want the court to overturn a Labour court's decision to dismiss their petition in which they wanted SRC to uphold the salary perks promised by the now defunct Transition Authourity (TA) in 2013.
