The National Assembly has rejected the allocation of Sh866.4million by the Treasury to clear pending bills for eight media organisations, dealing a blow to the firms struggling with cash flow challenges.
The amount had been allocated in the Supplementary Estimates No 1 of 2025/26 to the State Department for Broadcasting and Digital Economy to clear pending bills.
