Los Angelas, Marekani. Mke wa rais wa zamani Michelle Obama aliwapagawisha mashabiki katika tuzo za Grammys alipopanda jukwaani kuelezea nguvu ya muziki pamoja na Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jennifer Lopez na Alicia Keys.

Mashabiki walipiga kelele kwa nguvu huku wengine wakimkiss Michelle wakati alipokuwa akitabasamu na kusema 'tunataka kuonyesha kitu hapa!' jambo lililofanya wenzake nao kuangua kicheko. 

Michelle pamoja na wanamuziki Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Jada Pinkett Smith, na Keys walikuwa wakijadili jinsi muziki ulivyowasaidia kuelezea hisia zao.

"Uwe unapenda country au rap au rock, muziki umetusaidia kutuonyesha jinsi tunavyoweza kuonyesha hisia, tumaini na furaha yetu," alisema Michelle.

Katika tuzo hizo mwanamuziki Dua Lipa alishinda tuzo ya mwanamuziki bora anayechipukia na Kacey Musgraves alishinda tuzo ya album bora ya mwaka ikiwa ni mara ya kwanza kwa mwanamke kutwaa tuzo Grammy Awards.

Musgraves alitwaa tuzo nne kutoka katika album yake ya tatu ya muziki wa country.

Naye Dua alisema alikuwa na wasiwasi wa furaha wakati alipopokea tuzo yake.

Dua mwenye miaka 23, alisifia kwa tuzo za mwaka huu kuwa na washindi wengi wanawake "kuna wanawake wengi katika vipengere mbalimbali,” na kuongeza: "Nafiriki mwaka huu tumejaribu kupiga hatua kweli."

Kauli hiyo ni kijembe kwa rais wa Grammys, Neil Portnow, ambaye mwaka jana alijibu alipoulizwa kuhusu idadi ndogo ya washindi wanawake katika tuzo hiyo akasema wanawake wanatakiwa ‘kupiga hatua’ ili kuonekana.
